Hi there! "Clear You'r Shelf" Giveaway Blog Hop (June 15th - 20th) is hosted by I Am A Reader, Not a Writer.
This is the first time I'm participating in a blog hop! I'm excited and a little scared (I know that's silly) but I'm afraid that I'll do something wrong. I know I already did, when signing up I didn't say whether this if for the US or IN. This is US only, sorry, I am a poor college student!
While I have had giveaways on my blog before, they were ebooks, this time I'm giving away printed copies.
All of the books are USED but not ABUSED!
I'm very picky with my books, whenever I let my family or friends borrow my books I send a bookmark with them because I hate it when people bend pages or 'dog-ear' them! They are in good or great shape. Only light shelf wear. All books are YA (Young Adult).
Now for the good stuff, the prizes!
I have three (3) packages that I'm begging you to take, and each has two (2) books and a signed bookmark in each package.
There will three (3) winners!
The only catch is that I'm not going to tell the names of the books, but instead give you clues. The packages are each named.
Package #1
'The Purple' Package
- Something purple on the cover of each book, it could be pictures, shapes or letters, just something purple on them
- One book is a 2009 PB (paper back) with 563 paged book the other is 2011 HC (hard cover) with 325 pages
- The 2011 book is brand new, never even opened.
Package #2
'ARC' Package
- One book is a 2010 ARC the other is 2012 ARC!
- The 2012 is a debut author
- Little Brown and Company published one and the other is a HarperCollins release
- Little Brown and Company published one and the other is a HarperCollins release
Package #3
'L♥ved Books' Package
- This one is easy, both books are books that I loved! One book is a PB (paper back) and the other is a HC (hard cover)
- One was released in 2011 and has 313 pages the other was a 2008 release with 374 pages
- Both books are dystopian

Hmmm my first pick would be Package 2 then package 1 and last but not least package 3. I think that it is exciting to have the books a mystery, it makes it so much more fun to get them in the mail, not knowing.
By the way, love your blog. I also LOVE the little cat widget soooo cute.

Idk if I like that this is a mystery or not. Part of me does, but part of me would be bummed if I somehow am lucky enough to win just to receive books I already own, y'know?

I thought it was really fun and unique how you gave hints and kept the names of the books a secret. I still don't have any ideas what they are, but if I won I'd love to get the third package. Cuz if you love them, chances are I will too! And I am beginning to become fascinated with dystopian! :-D

I like that it's a mystery. There's something sort of exciting about the possibility of getting books you know nothing about. :)

I have a feeling the 325 page purple book is Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready and I'm almost a hundred percent sure that the 313 page loved book is Wither by Lauren DeStefano. I would go with either Package 2 or 3 and I love the whole mystery book i thing because it makes it exciting. You don't know what you'll expect and that's what makes it fun. Honestly I love mysterious stuff makes everything more exciting and fun. :)
I'd go with Package 3,2, then 1 (blastoff!). Since Package 3 has some of your favorite books I'll go with that and hope that I love them too.
I don't mind that the books remain a mystery. I would really love to know what books are inside, but that's part of the fun. Every mystery box giveaway that I've ever won have never disappointed me. There's always something I want and others that I can give to friends.
It would be awesome if you post what the books are after the giveaway is over. Then people can see if they guessed correctly.

Since it's all a mystery, I don't really know what to pick! Probably pack 2 or 3. "ARC" is an exciting word, but so is "dystopian."

I really like the way that you are doing this, the mystery of the books makes it fun :)
I really like the color purple (which is admittedly not a rational way to choose books) so I would put the packages in order of 1, 2, 3 (or 1, 3, 2) :)
I'm usually happy with mysteries - depends on what kind they are :)

I think I'd love the "ARC Package", mainly because I'm a huge fan of ARCs... followed by the "Loved Package", and then the "Purple Package". (2,3,1 - in that order).
I think the idea of keeping them a mystery was absolutely FANTASTIC, and very unique. It makes the whole thing a little more interesting, and I absolutely LOVE your header, it is SO adorable. Now I know why there is a "Purple Package" amongst the choices...you're a fan of PURPLE! ME TOO!!! :D
