It was the cover that grabbed my attention. I could tell it was a Dystopian right away, even before I read about it. I can't get enough of these books. I love, love, love them! And Partials didn't disappoint. The idea of the book is awesome, robots that look, sound, and act like humans, made to fight in war.
Partials is set in the near future, in the year of 2076, when a deadly virus has wipes out 99% of humanity. Humans are an endangered race, babies are even more important than ever. But that's the problem, no child has lived past a few days in more than fourteen years.
Sixteen year old Kira Walker wants that to change. She works as a trainee in the maternity ward at the hospital and is trying to find a cure for the virus, before her best friend gives birth to her unborn child. Hoping to save the baby, Kira will sacrifice her life for a cure.
This was an amazing book! It is on the long side, but it was well worth it, the book had everything, romance and action.
If you'r a dystopian fan, you should read this. This book is released the 28th of February, go out and buy it, I know I will. Book two Failsafe is expected to be published in 2013. I can't wait to read more from Mr.Wells.
